Here’s where your printer comes in. Once you’ve settled on a design, it’s time to send that design through to your printer. Use paper that you like, and make sure that you’re printing a high-resolution version of the design you’ve created.
Important to think on here, if your design features printed detail on both the inside and the outside of your card, you’ll need to remove your card from the tray, reverse it, and feed it back through your printer for the other side. Some printers come equipped with features that will handle this step for you. But it certainly doesn’t need to be one of those to get a great result.
Some Other Uses for Your Printer
If you’re happy with the results you’ve got, then you’re done! Even if you’re not quite there yet, you have the process down now, and all it will take is some refinement of the design. Important to note, if you’re looking to get a large run of cards printed, maybe for a wedding, then you can use your home printer to prototype your card options before committing to a large order or sample fee!
